Shanghai MUCE Electric Equipment
Co.,Ltd. ( MUCE ) is a high technology company owning several
patents. MUCE is in advance in the fields of new power and telecommunication
in China. The key engineers in MUCE are mainly transfered from
some military enterprises. So the management of MUCE including
the technology development, the administration, the sale-system
and so on is well-run.
In order to supply the sufficient and reliable power to the
border posts for the use of daily life and the telecommunication
system, under the requirement of the telecommunication department
of the People's Liberation Army MUCE started the study and manufacture
of Vertical Axis Wind-power Turbine (VAWT) and the system of
VAWT/WSPS ( Wind-Power and Solar Energy Power System ). In doing
so MUCE received the support from Xi An Jiao Tong University
and Shanghai Tong Ji University. By the end of 2002 MUCE successfully
made the first set of VAWT and at the beginning of 2003 some army units adopted such VAWT systems and all these systems
are working smoothly and effectively. Because of this the army
issued the Third Technical Progressive Award to MUCE and such
products have ben listed as the transferable item from the study
stage to the actual production stage announced ty Shanghai Municipal
Authority. The patents' noes are No: ZL200420081310.2 for VAWT and No: 200720066185.1 for latern
shape VAWT.
MUCE has the right of doing import and export and VAWT has got the CE Certificate. MUCE
has exported its VAWTs to some
countries and regions in Europ, Australia and Asia.
Now MUCE is working hard on researching the more powerful
VAWT of 100kw and above. It
is expected to have such VAWT
system at the beginning of 2008.
At the movement, MUCE is mainly manufacturing the VAWT of FDM type with the range from
50kw to 100kw under the patent No: ZL200420081310.2. This shows
that MUCE has made a solid progress in making VAWT and it also shows that the VAWT made by China is one of the world-wide advanced
systems, and it meanwhile shows that a new power source is effectively
coming.
MUCE is trying the ever best to set up the mutually reliable

at home and abroad in promoting and developing the wind-power
